Senior Tax/Business Accountant

Marrs, Sevier and Company LLC is currently seeking a full-time, salaried Senior Tax Preparer/Staff Accountant to join our office in Lakewood.   This position also has the opportunity for a flexible schedule.   We believe in attracting the best people to support our diverse clients. 

Job Details:

  • Prepare federal and state income tax returns for individuals and all types of businesses
  • Review tax returns prepared by other staff members
  • Prepare and Update tax planning for businesses and personal client throughout the year
  • Work with clients to obtain necessary information for completion of tax return
  • Work as a team with other Accountants and CPAs in the office
  • Use software to its maximum potential to work efficiently
  • Able to manage multiple tasks with deadlines


Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3- 5 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • CPA helpful but not required
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Quickbooks experience helpful but not required
  • Experience with GoSystem tax preparation software helpful but not required
