Our History Jerry Marrs and Gail Sevier started working together in 1966 for the Internal Revenue Service and then together, as partners, at Arthur Young & Company (the predecessor to Ernst & Young) in Denver. In September 1995, Jerry, Gail and Carol Rudnick, a successful professional at Arthur Young, joined together to form Marrs, Rudnick & Sevier, CPAs. The firm opened for business with the vision to serve its clients with large firm training and expertise, but local firm rates.
In 2000, Pflieger, Alderman and Nadorff merged into Marrs, Sevier & Company LLC. These professionals also shared a background with Arthur Young. The firm offered top quality tax and audit services to its clients. The new alliance enabled the firm to offer a full range of tax and financial reporting services.
In 2008, Pope & Associates, P.C. merged into Marrs, Sevier & Company LLC. Norman Pope has been known to the Marrs, Sevier & Company partners for many years and he will bring experience and new clients to the firm.
The small firm of a decade ago now boasts a roster of twenty-seven full-time and part-time professionals and a convenient location in Lakewood, Colorado.
